Time for a new account already?

Also self-hosting doesn’t actually make you more attractive, and the people who promise it does are lying.

Less than 2 months old, no thanks. Critical software like a filemanager needs to be battle tested for a few years before I’ll trust it.

Blindly trusting anything as a security barrier is a bad idea. That being said, there is a growing view among security professionals that containers are not sufficient protection against malicious code because it can directly attack the host kernel. This is not a new problem which is why most, if not all commercial container hosts have always used virtual machines to isolate containers from their bare metal systems.

I think its an interesting idea having OP be the mod of their own posts. If someone consistently deletes every comment they disagree with, I imagine the result would be fewer people would engage with their content. Sort of self policing in that way.
Moving core system components like that is a bad idea. Unless you audit every package you cannot know where it will violate an assumption.

And is there anything I can do about it…

As you can see in the included screenshot, piefed includes a choice of fonts including one that includes I with serifs. Certainly many other apps do as well. Or you can force it at the browser level I would think.

I feel like as soon as AI Agents calling businesses becomes common, a lot of people will simply hang up on them when they call.
