I don’t have wall paper because I have zero reason to look at it and it gets in the way of my apps.
But I respect the keeping everything tidy. On my desktop computer I don’t gave wallpaper, or folders, or apps.
Whatever. I would never allow an Xbox in my house. When they came out it was obviously just another shit product from a shit company. Hard pass.
The upside is hopefully it will just continue to alienate their market.
Been using Libre and open office before that since the first open source release. Kind of a power user, calc did things I needed before Excel did in many cases.
As of today my only issue is that Libre Office uses its own drawing and rendering (as I understand it) and I have issues with multi monitor resolution. Works fine on main screen, move it to another and rendering all huge and useless.
Probably the only application i have issues with using multi monitor multi resolution on Wayland.

Remember people weren’t having kids because they were concerned about the market, their careers, and time. The emphasis is on what certain peoples values are, and those values are passed down. Not genetics.

I won’t record your face or voice, I have no need to. I would be concerned that our HR team would think we are evaluating you with bias if I did that. Teams will require you to acknowledge being recorded even if I tried, but again, I wouldn’t do that.
I take notes, my team takes notes, the questions are determined ahead of time. Every interviewee gets the same questions and has the same time to answer. You can actually ask to see your score and get feedback if you want after the process is over. I value your time.
However, if you want to come into the building and be in a room: you WILL be recorded by a third party vendor, your signature collected and have your ID scanned. Our safety and security policies require it. You actually are better off not coming in person.

No I don’t like it running in the background and It isn’t set to start on boot. It bugs me when steam is running and I am not using it.

I think there is a clue here though: Linux does drive cache a lot. Possible that is why.

I find the blocking absolutely bizarre. I have never blocked anyone in my decades of online internet use. Ignored a lot of people, but never blocked anyone.

A console seemed like a stupid idea since forever. I never bought a new one, that would be a waste of money. Meanwhile game after game on sale for the pc.
And yet: I have 2 ps2’s networked with harddrives, a modified ps3 and ps4, a couply of modified wii’s and ds machines.
If it was more than $100 I wasnt buying. Several I got for free. We had our NES and SNES back in the day for about $20 (mid 90’s).
Seems fine to me. I have no issue with it. Seems the same as everything else really. I go from docs, to word, to writer and it makes no difference. Or calc, cells, and excel. Whatever.
