Pro tip: If you find large mysterious eggs on a derelict space ship, ALWAYS inspect them very closely. They tend to contain some really cool stuff. Mind-blowing, transcendental best stuff ever. I’m talking, like, way too legit to be legit, feel me? If you see movement inside, be sure to place your head close to the top of the egg. You should try to smell the egg or even give it a lick.

3·2 days agoThe early Christians weren’t really happy with the new religious literature they had at the time, so they agreed to remove specific parts. The remaining books were largely incompatible with the older ones, but they clearly weren’t aiming for a consistent collection anyway. As a result, we got a book series with all sorts of twists and turns.

It depends on how you want democracy to work. If you’re aiming for a fair society, sure. If you’re aiming for a dictatorship in disguise, disinformation, misdirection, propaganda, and straight-up lies are the foundation of your regime.
Mussolini pretty much wrote the book on converting a democracy to a dictatorship.
I would be more worried about the intentional bias. The temptation to use that leverage is far too great to be ignored. Only a fool wouldn’t take that opportunity.
How do you even apply for a job like that? If it’s like any other interview, surely there’s some sort of psychological assessment or a background check. Maybe you just need to wear a fanatic facade, and you’re hired… I just have no idea how Catholics roll.
