  • Well Cramer is always wrong and this holds in this case as well.

The thing hes wrong about is that he “sounds like Marx”

He simply admitted for a brief moment that the rich are taking all the money and the poor are getting fucked. He didnt meaningfully connect this an ongoing class war, the structural failure of workplaces governed in a dictatorial fashion by an owner class exploiting the excess value of labor.

He did not in fact “sound like Marx” he sounded like a thousand other capitalist apologists who look around at the suffering caused by capitalism and throw out a complaint about how the owner class is going a little too far and maybe should put the baby crushing machine in first gear for a little bit before the workers kill them.

  • Wouldnt it have been nice for their to have been actual consequences that flowed out of these things so the same shit bags couldn’t take over the levers of power and attack the witnesses.

I see Jack Smith is also making the rounds saying how he had evidence of trumps crimes. I mean trump commits one a day at least in front of news cameras, often following up his criminal admissions with some word salad like “this will get me in trouble, you aren’t supposed to say it, but I’m not joking I mean it literally, I did this terrible crime because I’m so smart”

And then the media goes “what did trump mean when he said he hopes Iran nukes San Diego” and people get on there like hes some complex mystery they must unravel, perhaps it was a joke, perhaps it was an analogy, perhaps it was a veiled reference to the los alamos project?

The worst thing about this regime has been realizing that at every step there was some authority or institution that should have and could have stopped it, but again and again they failed.

Mueller felt bound by a corrupt memo that Nixon wrote. Smith felt bound by I dont even know what. Biden’s administration slow walked any kind of justice and would you look at that, by golly, we just ran out of time to do anything at all. Shucks. Maybe next time guys.

  • I think the thing I find deeply unfair about the situation is let’s say this arrangement of work is 100% accurate.

The owner did the analysis, took out the loan, set up the machine that the worker works.

At some point that work ends for the owner, the analysis is complete, the loan is paid back. There capitalists work effectively ends and the workers goes on forever and the split stays the same.

There is no point where the owner goes, “well if I had billed the company for my analysis and the initial loan I’d have been paid back 10 times over, time to give more to the worker.”

They get to set up the machine because of the wealth and privilege that is indicated here and then extract forever.

When they die, they can hand that enterprise to their heir, who did nothing. Not one ounce of analysis, not one drop of risk in taking out a loan, and that heir can extract value forever.

And they will get to take $6 of every $10 forever because they had the good fortune of being able to afford the machine and take advantage of a system set up by people that own machines which unsurprisingly has a simple rule, the people that own machines get the money.
