Proton's CEO called a request for security testing "loser thinking". Using AI to write code is fine, but for a privacy company, the guardrails around that code are the product.

    “AI”-programmed code is inherently insecure. If a human spends the time to audit its security, the same human could just manually write the code in the first place. And then the whole cost saving that is being targeted by using “AI” will be lost.
