    I’m convinced that a lot of teen girls who are now identifying as trans or non binary are really just trying to get the stupid boys to leave them alone.

        I personally know 4 teen girls like this and have known them their whole lives. They seem to be going through the “figuring out who I am” phase. At first it was “I’m trans!” then went to “I’m non binary” but there’s still a lot of makeup and other typically female gender behaviors. They complain about how the boys their age are stupid and gross.

        Male attention can be difficult to navigate for young girls. This seems like a pretty good defense from that unwanted attention.
