The limit to reformism is a genuine belief that existing systems are essentially sound, but just need some tweaks or expansions, like a social safety net. They do not consider the actual reasons why systems like NATO exist. It’s also why they often don’t believe Europe is imperialist, because to them imperialism is a violent action you loudly take, and not the pilfering of the surplus value of developing nations.
