    I know this isn’t the place for jokes, but like, if you use it to murder someone isn’t it a de facto deadly weapon?

      I guess if it is something most people don’t carry with them, like a knife or a gun, it suggests intent to kill, while if he hit someone with an umbrella and they died he could argue self-defence.
