The Liberals and Conservatives teamed up yet again today — funny how that keeps happening — to get Bill C-39 over the hurdle of its first vote in the House of Commons.

That’s the massive, 243-page bill that consolidates even more power under ministers and away from parliament, allowing them to fast track projects like pipelines through bulldozing environmental protectionsand running roughshod over Indigenous rights. As the shit cherry on top of the shit sundae, it also attacks the right to strike.
