I’m upset because (my favorite show) is not in the top (insert arbitrary number)
I think these are as good as any on this list as well. My faves.
Black Sails
Arcane
Letterkenny
Norsemen
Corner Gas
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
Corner Gas mentioned?! Let’s go!!!
List compiled by an utter moron. Entirely missing (among others) and vastly superior to most on the list:
- The Expanse
- After Life
- Sex Education
- Firefly
- IT Crowd
Also, despite being controversial, probably worth mentioning:
- South Park
- The Walking Dead
- Z-Nation (imo much better than TWD)
South Park is not eligible as it started airing in 1997.
Typical NYT list, lots of filler series. But where the fuck is 24?
Deadwood. Great show. Definitely belongs on the list. Cancelled too early. I heard rumors about a movie that would work as the final episode as something.
Some really well portrayed characters, some really poorly portrayed characters, and the writing after the first season and a half was plywood. Not paper thin, but pretty weak.
Season 3 was full of setups and plot points that were supposed to be resolved in a season 4 that never came. The movie tried to close those holes, but the movie isn’t bingeable like the show is.
