Palmer Luckey of Anduril is teaming with Ben Lamm of Colossal Biosciences to launch Warhound, a startup dedicated to genetically engineering and cloning dogs for service in war, police work and first responder work.

Speaking to Wired, Lamm explained that the project was twofold. One part of the project would oversee the genetic engineering and cloning of the ideal dogs for war, and the other would develop tech for them to use on battlefields.

Remember if you buy shit from ModRetro like the M64 you are literally funding this fuck head. If one of your friends has that knock off GameBoy or n64 inform them, if they shrug it off reconsider your relationship with them. Seriously the excuse of no ethical consumption under capitalism doesn’t fly. There is a direct line from ModRetro to this arms dealer called Palmer and ModRetro sells just toys not something necessary for survival.

I think you have misunderstood what “There is no ethical consumption under capitalism.” means. It’s not an excuse to allow yourself to buy ModRetro, it’s a reminder that existing inside a capitalist system is itself unethical. Although you may not have a choice. It’s not an excuse, it’s a condemnation. People misuse it to mean they exist and it’s impossible to avoid participating in capitalism regardless of moral objections but that’s not what it means.
