My LG G8 all but got “upgraded” to this, it was a dedicated Google assistant button, right next to the power switch, and the assistant became AI. Thankfully, while you were unable to remap the button you could still just turn it off, I did that pre AI because I just never used assistant and kept accidentally hitting the button. There are a lot of things I miss about that phone, the AI button is not one of them.

There’s a house on my route to work that has fake bloody dismembered hands and feet and bones strung up in a tree right next to the bike path. During the day they’re very cheesy but at night in the dark it’s rather unsettling.

Default blocks are difficult, one of the things the dev of the Tesseract frontend got absolutely roasted for a few months ago was for how aggressive the block list was and blocking Blähaj just reeks of transphobia. (The primary issue was his lack of disclosure of the existence of the block list.) There is no low controversy way of making a default block list beyond what we already do with most instances defederating a couple of the most egregious instances.
