I’m just struggling with my own slow process of discarding faith and found the arguments useful… I don’t have a particular direction or anything

Aww man. I tried getting Kagi’s LLM to summarise the examples and refutations and even that’s proving too much for my burnt out brains…

Please keep going, that was great!

Yes but only if we can all watch

sorry, not OP but I’m not following your logic.

Are you assuming everyone’s using a Google wallet or something (what’s tying one’s bank to Google?).

Fuck that - that’s why we have credit cards…

gosh, that’s a lot of work - good on them!

I’ve been out of the Usenet scene for ages, does it still require multiple providers and/or indexers to be viable?

oh, for sure - actually fixing problems is absolutely better

That makes no sense at all…

wouldn’t this have a different (slightly?) outcome if there were actual workers protection legislation? I’m pointing out how the whole ‘fire at will’ BS is flat-out inhumane…

I could see this working in NZ where it’s challenging to sack people unless they’re outright fraudulent or hostile, for example

yes! as a non-American I never understood what context this was…

room mate clearly means someone you’re bunking with …in the same room

a flat mate is someone living in another room in the same place!

ooh - this deserves to go to bertstrips

dammit, I tapped the reaction icon thing by mistake and I still don’t know what it does or means (interstellar fedi app)

I’d like to think the bosses had a side chat laughing at the stupid shit they see - like parents with their kids
