By doing irreparable harm to a local community until the story becomes national and some politicians swoop in to earn election points by solving a problem that shouldn’t have happened in the first place? I don’t think I’d qualify that as a good example.
Using applicable local laws
Clean water in THIS economy?
Because saying “www” is a mouthful and serves no purpose to express vocally these days.
That exists in the US too.
And IJ represents their clients for free with the goal of setting court precedence that can be used in other cases and/or taken to the Supreme Court to help the whole country.
If that were the case then why would your roommates and neighbors be fellow employees? Also how would the government afford said housing if they’re also subsidizing the company you work for to allow them to be competitive for employees while only paying $15/hr?
The discussion isn’t about oxygen sensors or knock sensors. They’re talking about all the ‘smart’ features that send all kinds of information about you to the manufacturers. These systems are present in almost all modern cars.
Yeah noise is just part of living in a city. At least loud cars are usually moving so you’re only subjected to them for a few seconds. I’ll take the growl of a Ferarri over some shitty straight piped V6 Mustang with a crackle tune on it.
Lol “when you can’t attack the argument, attack the person making the argument”
Looks like you’re taking a page right out of the GOP playbook.
Lol looks like exactly what Samsung phones do where the moon itself is replaced with a stock photo when it detects you’re taking a moon shot. People have replicated it by taking a similar looking photo of street lights and the resulting photo shows the moon in place of the street light.
Can you actually explain why “it’s an issue?” What exactly makes this post “shit” and how is it harming Lemmy?
They make great points that Lemmy needs content in order to exist and most people aren’t submitting content themselves, so where is it supposed to come from? It sounds like they’ve actually figured out a sophisticated way of filtering out actual issues like seeing the same content here over and over or posts violating community rules or being irrelevant to community topics, so what is left to be upset over?
The only things you’ve mentioned thus far are “billionaires’ social media,” which you seem to be frequently using yourself (and conveniently glossed over from my last reply) and “AI,” but this isn’t some LLM hallucination or fake content (actual issues), it’s an automated tool to filter and share content that was made popular by people on a separate website.
Who cares if it gets reposted here though? If you have such a problem with reddit then why are you over there so often that you can identify which Lemmy posts are coming from there? Seems pretty hypocritical.
Don’t forget about the Magnum which was a wagon just like this.
