  • Shortly after the Reddit API debacle three years ago and the ensuing little exodus of users from there to here some guy created an Advice Wanted post asking for dietary advice for a circumstance where he couldn’t poop for three days. He was using very vague language, he was refusing to specify exactly why he couldn’t poop, and he was refusing to specify exactly what he was doing for those three days. When pressed about it he said he would technically perhaps be able to poop if he really had to, but it would be much better for everyone involved if he didn’t and he would really like to avoid it.

Obviously replies kept flooding in, both befuddlement, genuine advice as well as rampant speculation about what kind of activity he was to be engaging in. It also took over the meme communities for a good while, and I think it was still the most upvoted post of all time here when he deleted it (and his account).

  • I’m looking forward to Galley House then, that sounds really good!

Message From Deep Space looks interesting (and I did notice the Overwhelmingly Positive reviews), but I am a bit hesitant it’s a bit too math heavy for me (not my forte or favourite). Might be a good recommendation for my brother in law, though! Thanks for the rec!

  • Great picks, I’m really excited about those two.

I haven’t gotten to Galley House yet, I’ll play it with family over Christmas I think. Was it good?

And if you are fiending for more deduction games you might want to check out Dupery that just released. I’ve heard some really glowing endorsements and seen some gameplay. Looks very good, although quite difficult once you get into it.
