You can just google “third way britain” and “third way new democrats”… like I’m pointing to general stores of knowledge because this is general political history.

Your only evidence is “trust me bro”. So you don’t really have a leg to stand on when it comes to your historical revisionism. It’s not a matter of “this has a wikipedia page therefore it’s false”… that’s just not an argument against basic historical and biographical information on the people I’ve mentioned.

[EDIT: Imagine blocking someone because you can’t face basic history, and think it’s a deception created by Wikipedia.]

So your stance is the Third Way movement just didn’t exist …and Blair, Clinton, Obama (what you call “some random people”) didn’t do any privatizations or economic rationalism.

Cool story bro, history says otherwise. Modern events say otherwise.

So you’re a historical revisionist huh?

Because they have a page specifically on conspiracy theories about UFOs?

…I often hear right wingers say you can’t trust Wikipedia. But again, I’m talking about the privatization and economic rationism in the establishment left which aligns it with fiscal conservativism and crony capitalism.

You seem to think this is a discussion about Wikipedia. It’s not.

The connection isn’t the thing being proven. The character is… And you can’t really deny that New Labour and the New Democrats are right leaning in their fiscal conservativism:

The New Democrats, often referred to as Moderate Democrats, are a center to center-left and liberal faction within the United States Democratic Party. They are seen as culturally liberal on social issues while being fiscally conservative on certain economic issues.[6] New Democrats dominated the party from the late 1980s through the early-2010s and continue to be a large coalition in the modern Democratic Party.[7][8][9]

New Labour was influenced by the political thinking of Anthony Crosland and the leadership of Blair and Brown as well as Peter Mandelson and Alastair Campbell’s media campaigning. The political philosophy of New Labour was influenced by the party’s development of Anthony Giddens’ Third Way which attempted to provide a synthesis between capitalism and socialism. The party emphasised the importance of social justice, rather than equality, emphasising the need for equal opportunity and believed in the use of markets to deliver economic efficiency and social justice.

Anyone alive during the 1990s saw the waves of privatizations being done by establishment left governments. So arguing that people shouldn’t believe their lying eyes isn’t a way out… there are countless examples.

To deny that is to play a game of historical revisionism. It’s not something you can just hand wave away.

    From Wikipedia:

“Under the centre-left Australian Labor Party (ALP) from 1983 to 1996, the Bob Hawke and Paul Keating governments pursued many economic policies associated with economic rationalism such as floating the Australian Dollar in 1983, reductions in trade tariffs, taxation reforms, changing from centralised wage-fixing to enterprise bargaining, restrictions on trade union activities including on strike action and pattern bargaining, the privatisation of government-run services and enterprises such as Qantas and the Commonwealth Bank and wholesale deregulation of the banking system. Keating also proposed a Goods and Services Tax (GST) in 1985, but this was scrapped due to its unpopularity amongst both the Labor Party and electorate.[citation needed] The party also desisted from other reforms such as wholesale labour market deregulation, the eventual GST, the privatisation of Telstra and welfare reform. The Hawke-Keating governments have been considered by some as laying the groundwork for the later development of both the New Democrats in the United States and New Labour in the United Kingdom.[33][34]”

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_Way

So yes, it is correct to say that these behaviors define the (current) New Democrats and New Labour political positions that are in power in the establishment left of many western democracies. They have been the establishment left for 30 odd years now.

  • The Chinese system is divided into provincial leadership, districts, cities, ect… And they each have their own funding mechanisms and quite a lot of leeway in how they govern at their set domain of government. So they’re running their own versions of America’s “States Rights” system, in that different areas resolve similar problems in different ways.

I’ve heard when Xi believes someone coming up the ladder is a threat to him, he assigns them to a particularly difficult province. However if they’re very competent they’ll keep solving problems and coming up the ranks.

If he can’t get rid of them any other way, it stands to reason he’d purge them. The long term problem is that creates a pool of well informed, critical agitators who are competent political leaders.

100 years ago China was promised democracy (when Sun Yat Sen, Chiang Kai-shek, and Mao Zedong were all in the KMT Chinese Nationalist Party TOGETHER)… And that promise will be fulfilled one way or the other.

  • It’s probably a pump and dump, those in the know probably sold high, they’ll use it to convince board members to release more stocks or something then double down… Wait until the price bounces back and pull out more loans on an higher valuation.

They’re masters of this type of financial trickery. I doubt the small fish crashing will bother the data center builders who are killing the planet and corrupting culture/society/politics.

  • Yeah, this is how to get subsurface scattering in the medium of paint right? You paint a layer green and it boosts the eventual skin tone layer. I’ve heard of this technique.

Actually, thin film interference is a similar phenomena just from the science world.

I think all this relates to why viens appear blue/green even though it’s kind of the opposite of blood red. Light and colour …weird and dynamic stuff.

Oh, none of these companies make money! They parasite off from governments practicing free market “Liberalism” giving them cash and contracts and they do pump and dump stock trading schemes to get good valuations, big investments and big bank loans then just time the accruing and dispersal of their debts carefully.

At some point the investments and saving accounts just start self-reproducing money because we don’t have an economy that expects organizations to have a trillion dollars… So it’s for practical purposes an infinite money glitch.

They don’t make money they just acquire enough of it that the money starts reproducing.
