Like Wallace and Gromit but instead of cheese it’s biscuits.

  • People should never treat politicians as icons celebrities. They are there to work for us. Be please or angered by their policies and decision making, but charisma should not be a factor.

Here in the UK I saw so much of this with Boris Johnson, and still with Farage. I knew a people people who liked Johnson because he’s a bit of a laugh, likeable, whatever. They did not go into reasons of what a politician should be doing. Only his character.

  • I remember as a kid having a corner sofa similar. Instead of glass it was either wood or material on wood. I remember it was recessed a little bit so had a small edge. It was also brown with a kind of short pile rug feel which seemed to attract dust and/or mites because my asthma didn’t get along with it.

  • My wife is lactose intolerant and we always have soya milk in the house. I don’t drink tea or coffee and only have milk for cereal, so I just have been having soya for about 15 years.

When my son was a bit older we thought we’d make some milk shakes for him and his friends. I had one too, and boom. Massive shits and wind. Never used to be a problem for.me but now it is.

  • As somebody who suffered a lot with social anxiety when I was younger I would have loved this option. I knew I could leave whenever I could but all the hand shakes and see-you-laters, etc interaction were so difficult for me.

Instead I had a really uncomfortable time “advocating for myself”. Which one one hand, like you say, did teach me a lot. But it wore me down a lot and often I would be the last person to leave just because I didn’t have the energy/mindset at the time. A good mixture of both would have been ideal.
