That’s crazy, man. I know there are a few companies doing that. The only one I’ve personally experienced is Micro1, which uses an AI voice interviewer. It’s wild how far things have gotten.

I’m more focused on AI-assisted interviews, though. I’ve noticed more companies, including HackerRank, starting to pivot in that direction, and I think that’s a much more interesting approach.

i’m not saying AI replaces knowing how to code. i’m more interested in what comes after that baseline can you actually work through an unfamiliar repo, use AI without blindly trusting it, and make a safe change?
