And I think Zelensky would be pretty happy to resign after proper democratic election.

One might argue that USA isn’t what it is right now because of Trump. Trump is president because USA is what it is right now.
Of course not everyone living in there, just like not everyone living in Russia is a bloodthirsty murderer for their tzar. But USA as a global entity is really just that bat shit crazy right now. It might get better some day, but as the circus has been on full blast for years now it doesn’t seem too promising in the near future.

Well, they already slowed down Ukraines drones and communication with Musk, stalled information exchange about upcoming attacks and such and are actively giving money to Russia and breaking international agreements about oil export restrictions. And also they are (again) discussing about ending the war without Ukraine on the table.
They might not sell weapons to Russia (yet), but USA is absolutely supporting Russia on the war.

Not really. They are intentionally leaving Ukraine out, they didn’t forget.

It blocks malware every now and then on my email server and I’ve seen it clear files on samba-servers with windows clients and prevented infections from spreading in the network. So, it’s not useless, but it’s not on the same level than commercial competition either.

ClamAV. Not the shiniest one around and I’ve never used it on windows, but it does exist and filters malware on tons of email servers around the world (among other things).

LGR has a video about Danmere Backup system which used your home VCR for backups. It apparently could store up to 4GB to a normal VHS-tape. Quick search around the net didn’t find much other than LGRs video and random snippets, but apparently that was slow, roughly 4MB/minute. But at the time when a lot of people didn’t even have storage on their computers up to gigabytes, so it could’ve been a viable option, but I haven’t heard about anyone who’d actually used a thing like that.
C-cassettes on Commodre 64 were a common thing and in here even the national broadcasting company sent some programs over the FM radio during nights.

I’ve always thought that it’s more ‘we need more women than men to repopulate our country after the war’ as us men are nearly useless when making new life to this planet. But obviously that idea is ‘a bit’ dated too today.
I don’t know about long term, but it’s running on my pile of virtual servers and does it’s job just fine. The openmediavault itself is a pretty good web-interface on top of Debian and it’s just configuring the underlying operating system so you can get exactly the same setup by writing configurations manually for the services. OMV is just a convenient tool to manage simple fileshares.
I use it only for samba and wireguard, so can’t really say if it’s as solid with other extensions, but for me it’s been a decent tool for the job.

Resigning from schengen contract would also mean that swiss people couldn’t travel freely across the Europe. That would be way bigger problem than the potential handful of Russian tourists around there as it’s not that uncommon to go across country borders on your grocery shopping. I very much doubt that Swizerland would shoot itself on both feet, no matter how strong ties someone around there might have to Russia.

Another happy joker.com customer here

I didn’t take any overhead in account, just checked that the site itself was a bit under 2kB worth of data. 1 gigabit / 2 kilobytes = 62500, so in order to consume 1Gbps you’ll need about that 62k visitors every second. Handshake is few hundred bits and other overhead is pretty neglible, but those are still not zero so I just rounded it down for a rough ballpark number.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s over 1Gbps.
The site is about 2kB. In order to consume 1Gbps it would need about 62 000 visitors every second, assuming no one uses any kind of cache or anything. Or 5,4 billion visitors daily. Not impossible, but I’d guess the real number isn’t quite that much.

They are easily the dumbest superpower.
I wouldn’t say ‘easily’. Competition is pretty tough in these days.
