If full time Walmart employees need government assistance programs to afford food and pay their rent, is it not Walmart who is leaning on government assistance?

  • “As a kid in a wheelchair, I faced my share of bullying. It’s why I believe that no Iowan should face discrimination. As a Paralympian, I also know it’s important to have rules. It’s why I oppose males competing in female sports, something that is already illegal in Iowa. I’m against taxpayers paying for sex changes too. Anyone tells you any different is lying. I’m Josh Turek. I approve this message. It’s time to stop the nonsense from both extremes and start to focus on lowering costs for Iowans.”

What a disgusting piece of shit. You are the bully, you just found some people easier to bully than yourself and like the feeling.

To those shaming people for daring to criticize a democrat: There’s a difference between vote shaming and criticism of someone who hates you. Telling trans folks they can’t be hurt by things like this because Republicans want to lynch them is some pussy shit. Try just once to imagine being in their shoes. Both doors close on you, and those who still have one open door won’t even let you grieve your basic human rights. Criticism is the least these invertebrate “leaders” are owed.

  • Did…

Did you even read the article?

Or do you honestly think any of the parties (all of which are pro-pograme and genocide) are some how anti-zionist? The article is about how there are no choices in the matter to vote based on. This is of course expected because Israel had a societal issue and only global powers refusing to play ball will change anything. This is also why you see so many zionist leaders in the US trying to pretend it’s a Bibi issue and if they could just get him outa there we could go back to ignoring the apartheid like the good old days in their minds. The fact of the matter is that Israeli humanists have less Democratic power to stop this than US and EU humanists do and that’s a sad state of affairs for a country which purports to have the most morality present in the middle east. Such as it is, they make every middle Eastern country look good in comparison except those equally bought off by the west.

Edit: Maybe you missed this: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/9/26/israel-bans-arab-parties-from-election-who-they-are-why-it-matters

It would seem the reason it truly doesn’t matter is because they’ve given up on the facade of Democracy when it comes to Arabs, because they’re a supremacist Nazi wet dream just with Jews instead of “anglo saxons” To be clear, this was also being dismantled by Bibi very quickly even before October 7th because he was going to be kicked out of power. To prevent this he destroyed a lot of the so called levers of democracy such as the supreme court who was holding him accountable for corruption. It’s a big fucking mess over there, the sooner we defund it the sooner we can watch it crash and burn with the most comically idiotic and evil leaders imaginable holding the bag.

Also I’m rereading the article now and it seems like maybe it’s purposefully leaving stuff out that would make your point entirely valid… They say, “Israel goes to the polls on October 27, with no political party offering an alternative to war and authoritarianism.” and then go on to specify further that there are no “zionist parties” who don’t support the genocide… Well those are two very different statements. It might just be straight up misinformation. Anyone have a source for a non-zionist party actively participating in the elections? I also see his supreme court vetoed the removal of the parties from the elections, which wasn’t mentioned here… Seems kinda dishonest to me from wsws.org

  • I think every option other than Trump is better than him simply because the popular mandate can’t be had by a freak like Miller, it can’t be had by a rizzless baffoon like Vance, a stuffy devil in a suit like Vought, a sniveling gremlin pedophile like Lutnick, or a out and about Jewish Supremacist like Kushner. The only person I worry about being in charge is Tucker Carlson. Given how the world only ever seems to get worse, I think this would be the end result. Most of my predictions are true by imaging the worst possible scenario. The only upsides to him is that he’s made a lot of enemies, but I think he’s demonstrated his ability to lie his way into power and I don’t think that would be a saving grace for us at all, we’d probably be fucked, and he’s definitely smart enough and charismatic enough to achieve most of his white supremacist goals. The best case scenario is Trump having a stroke while complaining about Tucker being a traitor.

  • “Yes me lord, you deserve 1/3 of our grain and our women me lord. I only live to serve.” These types have been around a long time, at least as long as religion took on the form of demigods’ blessings for loyalty, but probably much longer. It’s ironic that it’s the people who grandstand about their guns being taken away by liberals but do nothing in the face of actual tyranny, but I think deep down we always knew that. They would even give up their guns to the right conman, or really just anyone who promised to also take the guns of those who look different than them (if they thought they had them).

  • Even in the ideal liberal world where Republicans show up and take advantage of loopholes, and then Democrats take power and patch them all, fundamentally this allows a ratcheting effect if Democrats only ever fix and never utilize the power themselves. I’d like to see a truth and reconciliation period similar to South Africa where we take a hard look at ourselves as a nation and address the bigotry that leads us to become such a pariah, both to each other and globally. We can then address the shared goals of bringing back American jobs from a standpoint of honesty at what took them in the first place, and many of the other things that supposedly fueled the collapse of our moral framework. Unfortunately I don’t see a world where any party leaders would engage in this behavior, because moving on is all their donors ever want to do. You don’t need to dig for long to find billionaires meddling, and their favorite time to meddle is in democratic primaries, something the leadership very much wants them to keep doing.
