I guess redlib could use a login cookie with a dumb reddit account ? Less privacy focused but still accesible without all the bload and stupid ads.

Old craptop as own cloud storage ftw ! It’s a good starting point ! However it’s not an easy way ^^

This is the way !

I feel you… AppleTV is probably the worst Apple product and OS ever made… Don’t even try to tinker arround with that stuff.
Apple products in general are horse shit… Probably even worst than Windaube ! I’m always pulling my hair out when going near that stuff and help my parents out.

Woow… That’s huge ^^ ! I guess my pi wont work anymore without any vpn… This clearly sucks !
Maybe time to switch to I2P for torrenting and doing my part for a more free open internet? Any Other alternative?
Skill issue ! There’s a good balance between the 2. If you only rely on one organization logic you will later regret it ^^.
Putting everything in one folder/directory and let the metadata speak for itself is just calling for a nightmare later one (same goes for folder/directory structure without metadata!).
Naaaah… Bad long terme advice !
Thank you very much ! I didn’t expected someone doing my part to RTFM o_O !
Without doing again the heavy reading part, what should I expect from hugging face models?
If my reading skills are correct it should be local, but I’m really paranoid about this stuff ^^ Even though I read your posted links, I’m still not sure if I should trust them…
Something written in a manual and what the code realy does are sometimes far appart ^^’
Does Immich sell/use/keep your ML-based FR? Or is this totally local a never leaves your instance?
That was always the question that bordered me… I run Leeche its a very simple and minimal photo album service and I really like it ! But my family want something that’s more like immich but I’m very cautious about what i’m selfhosting and something that collects data points on my behalf is a no-go !

“Thanks I figured it out”.
That’s probably the worst part…
If you want a very stable server = debian
Hybrid server+gaming = openSUSE Tumbleweed
If you hardcore probably Arch :D
If your are in ultra instinc you make your own OS :D
I was referring to your own dumb reddit account cookie, but yeah this would take away the whole purpose of redlib however it would still grant access to important stuff present on reddit :). It was anyway inevitable…
