California, Nevada, and the rest of the blue states that will ignore and contest these, are not the intended targets. This is not a failed or foiled attempt at vote suppression.

It’s definitely not their fault, but I could certainly ask why they didn’t enshrine protections into law when they had the chance.
Well, those cases are so cut and dry they don’t have to be escalated all the way to the supreme court. Plenty of men admit in court to murdering trans women, but follow it with “because I found out she was trans”, and get off completely.
A couple of points people seem to be mistaking:
She was not shoplifting. A white lady thought she was and called the police.
The baby was not accidentally shot as the cop fired blindly into the car. His mother held him up to show the cop pointing a gun that there was a baby with her. The cop shot the baby being held up, like he was shooting a clay pigeon.
