Out of curiosity, what’s it called when Russia does it to Ukraine?

What metrics can you provide that Russia is getting weaker and not steonger? With the advent of BRICS this will only continue at a greater pace. Countries like Russia and China are ascendant.
I mentioned depleted stockpiles specifically, but go ahead and pretend I was talking about economics.
Russia is fighting an existential threat on their border. That’s what they’re trying to accomplish.
So they take all of Ukraine. Russia now has a border with a nato country, the thing they’re allegedly going to war to prevent. Fucking brilliant.

Hey quick question, let’s assume everything you think about Russia is true. Why is putin playing along? Why is he emptying soviet vehicle stockpiles and losing troops on droves to a place he said in 2014 he could take in 2 weeks? If the US or NATO actually wanted to invade Russia, now is better than yesterday, and tomorrow will be even better. So why continue a war that only weakens Russia?
I guess the ultimate question is what is putin trying to accomplish with the invasion?

Yep, a classic: suffering is part of God’s plan. The real question is whether God could pull off his grand plan with less suffering. Is it really necessary to give infants leukemia to accomplish his goal? If yes, he’s not all powerful. If no, he’s an asshole. Then they sidestep to free will and sin, at which point you ask them who decided the consequences of sin in the first place.

Leda. She is a complicated cat. She is a rehome because she kept attacking people in her previous home. The short version is she gets very twitchy when she’s uncomfortable. I gave her space and she became an absolute baby for me (and now my wife) but getting her vaccinated involved 3 people and leather gloves. We have 6 cats and she coexists well enough with all of them except the voids.
That shit would have been all over youtube the fucking day after the shooting if it was actually justified.
