If a company like McDonald’s thought it was worth all that they’d already be doing it.

Supposed to be, but (like everything else) it’s incredibly underfunded.

This is completely unrelated, but I hope I’m dead before using “compute” as a noun sounds normal to me.

The story goes that American troops in Europe in WWII didn’t like the concentrated bitterness of espresso so they added water to make it closer to drip coffee, and it’s named after them.

One is a way of thinking, the other is an interpretation of reality.

The “large enough display of civil disobedience” would just be outright civil war. We already know that Republican voters are happy to accept the razing of “Liberal hellholes” (every major city in the country) based on the messaging around Seattle and Portland in 2020.
Technically speaking if enough seats in Congress flipped to Democrats they could push an impeachment and prosecution through but that still hinges on the Executive and Judicial branches cooperating, and then there’s the military to consider. What we really need is a bunch of agricultural states to change so we can make some Constitutional Amendments but they’ve all been gerrymandered to fuck so that’s not a realistic goal either.

I’m not giving my money to a homophobic enterprise.

What you’re asking for is not trivial. Just for the backlog, assuming a single scant hour per game, is 70 new full-time positions before getting into the organizational and administrative overhead. That’s the absolute bare minimum to load up and investigate a game and categorize it and it only works for things that are clearly defined from the very beginning. Realistically there’s no way they can sift through all the assets and code in that time for, as an example, signs of AI use even if they had full access to the developer’s work files. What you’re asking for is more like a full week audit on average.
Dog, you sound like you’d be supporting slaveholders in the 1800s because that’s what the majority decided was best. Between that and your Philosophy 101 reply to the other guy I can’t take you seriously.

We’re still paying a small portion of what beef should cost if you subtract the nonsense corn subsidies and such. It’s a luxury product treated like a staple.

Restaurant chains that don’t farm and ranch their own ingredients should consider saying bye bye. Especially national and international chains.
I don’t think there’s a single chain restaurant that is this vertically integrated. The farm-to-table shtick doesn’t scale well to “a hundred thousand acres of wheat for buns”. It works for bougie seasonal-produce, rotating-menu type places that can afford to be open 12 hours a week, 12 weeks a year.

Ah, you’re the reason they give me a fistful of sauce when I say “two”.

That attitude starts at the top. As a younger man I worked at a regional chain (Taco Time) at one of their company-owned locations. It rocked. Competitive pay, respectful leadership, a commitment to cleanliness and quality, we even collaborated with the test kitchen to refine new products (I gave feedback on the habanero hot sauce that made it to menu). I felt appreciated and fairly treated so I happily stood behind the product.
Then I moved and got hired on at a franchise. It was night-and-day. The owner was a cheapskate who wouldn’t replace anything until it was beyond broken, and even then it was usually the manager who went to the cash & carry for stuff. Knives never sharp enough, everything worn and stained, infrequent portion and procedure testing, ingredients kept around just a little too long. The manager was big on being liked but not actually good at handling people and hired a string of frankly terrible candidates (one of which physically threatened me for correcting him during training). Standards slip. I regret not simply walking out the day they yelled at me in front of a customer but the shift lead was actually cool and I didn’t want to inconvenience her too terribly, so I quit the next day.
I boycotted that location until everyone I recognized was gone and it seems to be a little better now. The food tastes fresher at least.

They lost their way when they got rid of the solariums.
The “collective will of the people” is pretty sure that all our earthly thoughts and actions are being judged by a divine being. An idea being popular does not make it right.

Valve should have staff manually play through 144k games to make sure all the tags are accurate?

I didn’t mean to suggest that it was easy, simple, or even a good idea. Just that we live in hell.

“Cheaper” is not the most important metric.
No it’s a set of fundamental assumptions about the nature of the universe and reality.
