I try to do my best to avoid a lot of political news yet stay aware at the same time. My battery is going on empty. Yes, I promise I will vote, I always do. I just genuinely don’t have the mental energy to read about the horrors that occur day in and day out anymore.

I wonder about that. I’ve seen enough people in various horror communities thirsting after every eldritch creature you can imagine.

It does make weeding people out of your life easier though.

When you ask for very little from your friend circle or your relationships it’s a lot easier to see if people make an effort or not.

I’ve also seen a lot of smaller communities bend their own rules presumably for the sake of engagement as well. No ads is nice though and having real people around is also wonderful.
