With my kids, it’s not the asking of the questions I mind, as I love answering questions too! Being a dad is one of my favorite things ever. The part that gets frustrating is when. They ask me a question but don’t listen to my response. It’s not that they didn’t understand, mind you… they simply tuned me out as soon as I started talking. And believe me, I’m explaining things in a way they could understand. That drives me nuts when anyone does this, like don’t make me waste my breath! Why bother to ask?

I’ve come up with a good punishment at least: I either ball up my fist and punch ‘em in the butt, or I choke their pet rabbit while telling them “look what you did! This is your fault!” Nothin’ wrong with that, amirite?
