I think the point was that Google is trying to position these as an alternative to laptops running the well-established OSs, but that makes no sense when it can’t do what can be done on those others.

Rogue would be if they cut power to the servers, but the AI still kept going because it had anticipated that and propagated itself elsewhere. They didn’t cut power, so it’s not rogue.
