To add to this, Nevada has basically two cities, Las Vegas and Reno, and a lot of empty space everywhere else. The vibes of Vegas and Nevada’s proximity to California attract socially left people. The lack of income tax attracts financially right people. The sparsely populated areas tend to be right wing like most sparsely populated areas in the US.

Fuck musk and all that, but this was a damn cool stunt and some seriously impressive engineering.
A little bit of airflow can make a huge difference. If it works it works. I think the doubters have just never experimented.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Linus Torvalds shares his thoughts on Anti-AI coding rules
6·13 days agoYou don’t need to check that the machine code your compiler made matched the code you wrote. You don’t need to check that the commit message an editor sent matched what you typed.
You absolutely do need to check and correct everything that comes out of AI because it’s at best like 80% correct, and that’s if the subject matter is easy.

I’ve owned GBA, NDS, 3DS, and my brother had the DS Lite. Every Gen 1 DS I’ve seen has had its hinge break eventually. All the others on this list seem more durable. My GBA in particular went through some rough spots.
But yeah, adding moving parts is always going to add more points of failure.
