I swear histamine is like the most confusing shit to understand if it’s a problem for you. I had to make a spreadsheet
I had one of those until mid 2000’s. I remember fidgeting with the curly umbilical cable thing while on the phone
Damn; looks like grandma is going to outlive us all

1·22 hours agoI have a lot of experience with this. I’m allergic to literally all species of grass somehow 😂
- Avoid triggers. For example, I avoid lawnmowers and freshly mowed lawns. Sometimes that means taking the extra long way around.
- Be wary of dry and windy days.
- Carry an asthma inhaler and spacer if relevant.
- Carry antihistamines ~ they come in nasal spray, eyedropper, and pill form. Choose what’s best for you based on worst symptom.
- Use a covid-style face mask and eye protection like wraparound sunglasses. This seriously helps a lot.
- Don’t “tough it out” ~ if you’re suffering, go inside and take time to look after yourself.
- If it’s severally impacting your life, go see an allergist. They can give you the good shit.

1·22 hours agoI recently got much more allergic to soy; which sucks because soy is in like every processed food for some reason. Bread, dark chocolate, and cereal really don’t need soy. That’s even before the “may contain…” labels because an ingredient shared an assembly line at some point. It sucks lol

6·22 hours agoThis is why it’s important to use bookmarks and never trust an unexpected link sent to you via e.g. email and don’t trust search results to be genuine. I once watched a family member search “Gmail” and click the first sponsored link. It sent them to “
g.maìl.com” or something (I don’t remember the exact link) with a phishing lookalike login page. Many people search every time or trust a normal looking link instead of using bookmarks which is a huge risk unfortunately in 2026 with sponsored links and domain manipulation

221·2 days agoBitwarden has much better enterprise options. KeePass is kind of dinky by comparison; even for a single user you immediately run into the problem “how do I sync my new password to my phone automatically?” Bitwarden was just an app that worked.
That being said ~ I see the writing on the wall, and will be going back to the dinky option. Again. This isn’t the first time I’ve been burnt, but I never seem to learn. Self-hosting seems to be the only sustainable long-term option after all. Hopefully the migration isn’t too painful.
I highly recommend anyone reading this get your export out while they still have a good export tool. First thing companies do in enshitification 101 is make it difficult to leave and trap you via inconvenience.
In America they tip in perpenny
At this point I’m surprised they haven’t switched to square cans so you pay more but get less soup
Quantum computing features wave functions, so it’s more similar to human brains than binary is. I have this headcanon SciFi thing like what if the first full scale quantum computer we make accidentally conscious? That would be cool. Though, seeing how badly we fucked up much simpler LLMs implementation maybe not so cool…

1·2 days agoIs it still an opinion if it’s just a personal attack? In my opinion (lol), an opinion contains some sort of belief or subjective knowledge. I suppose you could argue that their opinion was I am an idiot, but that seems like kind of a stretch
