1·9 hours agoOrganizing. Strike. Revolution. is a slogan, not a plan. How can you demand from others what you’re not willing to do yourself? What is your plan.

12·11 hours agoExpressing authority over capitalists, in U.S. parlance, is called regulation. The US just took a MASSIVE step towards reinstituting the regulation that the Republicans spent 4+2 years stripping., so there’s hope at least
They’re not going to introduce a constitutional amendment to ban capitalism, or whatever magic bullet you’re thinking of, but if we’re lucky they might pass universal healthcare.
Doesn’t that one get eaten by a bird?
that is dead ass accurate.
For the uninitiated:

Texas produces about 41% of the U.S.'s oil. California tops out at 1.8% and has been steadily declining
Scale makes the price difference.

Texas also holds a third of the country 's refining capacity, California only 8%
Louisiana refines twice as much oil as California and they have almost $6 a gallon diesel too.

AND IF THEY DON’T HAVE THOSE VOTES, THEY NEED TO MAKE IT EXTREMELY FUCKING UNCOMFORTABLE FOR THE REPUBLICANS WHO REFUSE TO HOLD THAT ASSHOLE ACCOUNTABLE.

2·1 day agoBad news there I’m afraid, some people think it might even be unconstitutional, but because it’s never triggered it’s never been tested. It’s probably a safe bet that if it ever did trigger the Republicans would set their own children on fire summoning the best lawyers hell can offer.

5·1 day agoThe allusion is to the state-level pact several states have made to always assign their electoral votes to the winner of the popular vote in their state. With Texas and other flipping, that makes enough states to be over 270 votes, meaning if all those new blue state governments join the compact, the EC essentially doesn’t matter anymore.
And it doesn’t need to include Texas
On Tuesday, Democrats took control of state legislatures and governorships in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Nevada, all states that haven’t agreed to the compact. If all five vote to join, then the total number of electoral votes apportioned based on the national popular vote jumps to 283.

Thousands of people just did years of work to get elected to offices across the spectrum of government and you’re sitting at a keyboard telling them it’s not good enough.
What is your plan besides that wishful thinking non plan you posted? What ideas do you have to help them? Do you have plans to work with them? Are you going to collaborate with anyone? Are you going to organize? Where’s your people, your war chest, your logistical support, your supply chains, your plan.
These thousands of people had a plan, they organized, they protested, they got elected and now they’re gearing up to do the job.
what are you doing besides yelling on the Internet?
oh and one follow up question, what the fuck are you going to be doing?
