Windscribe does port forwarding with a “pro” account. I’m not sure what per app routing is, is that more of a client capability?

I got a rock-5-itx in the before times with a decadent 32GB of RAM. It’s my home server, and it’s currently using 19/31GB:

The headroom is nice, I guess. Sometimes I spin up whole desktop dev environments I can access remotely.

Valve will take the cut from the sale no matter what of course, but the DRM and even the in-game Steamworks integration is actually optional. You can publish DRM-free files on Steam which do not require Steam to run at all if you want. People might get grouchy if you skip achievements and save sync or whatever, though.

And to further clarify, you do not need to eschew achievements and that other stuff if you want your game to work without steam. You can make your game check to see if steamworks is working and then provide those services if if available.

I’m an ml user, listen to me. I think you should vote, personally. I don’t think it’s enough for what needs to happen, but yeah, do it.
Now that you know my opinion, you may all proceed. 😎
Piss in the shoes, got it.

True from what I’ve read, and honestly I never used it in that form. I was mostly gaming on consoles at that time.

If Valve just made using Steam as soul-crushingly painful as we imagine it must, we might have a chance! Imagine what could be if the wizards behind the Google Play Store took a shot at making Steam!
There’s not enough salt in the world!
And for all I know, he was a bad little slug.
Spurdo kinda fell off, right?

I get my news from my dog. It’s our little secret 😉 🐶

I’d probably do something corny like remodel it to be a free admission museum or something.

Is it as delicious as it looks?

Someday, maybe. I think the midterm elections are making people even crazier than normal.

It’s not a problem like it is on Reddit though because the admins/moderators on lemmy.ml can’t censor the network, just the coms they moderate. Using instances and coms that have moderation policies you prefer will always be an option, there’s no single authority.
I think in fantasy you do have what can only be called non-human people. The definition for the word “person” tends to include “human,” but only because in real life human persons are the only ones that are known to exist.
I only use metric when it’s in forms nobody else uses or recognizes at a glance because I need to be difficult. Decimeter is perfect for like, height of a person, for example. Why do they use CM?
