it’s easy enough to find affordable vintage digital cameras

what’s an example of a good digital camera these days?

i prefer many cheap devices to one expensive device

i hate having everything on one device. makes it one point of failure.

When I got Discord in 2020, everything about the UI made me think this was a private place with the people on the server. Boy oh boy was I wrong. I use Matrix now for actual gaming and hanging out with friends.
I only maintain my Discord to get updates in big organizations, like union organizing. But even those organizations should think about migrating to Matrix or something similar as soon as possible.

i was hoping for a vertical iphone flip phone so it would be smaller oh well

honestly just get whatever phone and buy a proper digital camera, you’ll save money. i did this with music, cancelled spotify, got an mp3 player, now i dont really care whether my phone has a headphone jack for my iems.

the schadenfreude is real

so sad

spoilers: it’s ice

mad props

There’s always nonprofits with likeminded people

that’s too bad. you could get involved in local orgs to pressure those awful choices at least

you can vote for LA County Supervisor! those positions have a lot of power but nobody pays attention to them

this rocks. who’s the artist?
