7 days agoPlease be aware this doesn’t mean 51% of cars are “plug-in” or EVs. The 49% number only refers to gasoline cars without hybrid/diesel/EVs/other.

The use of diesel in the EU is in decline since ~2019, while the usage of gasoline is currently rising. But in the EU, we’re using more than twice as much diesel as gasoline.
