Republicans can vote third party all day long. You will hear no complaints from me. If you are a Republican, please vote third party if you can’t vote for anyone else.
Or just stay home. Consider not voting if you are a republican.

you can make fuel out of corn. Corn bread. Corn bourbon/whiskey/moonshine. You also get cool husks for tamales

Memory cache hits are destroying performance? Is this profiled or just guesswork? I don’t understand how that’s tied to perceived performance degradation specific to web-based toolkits like Blink and Webkit

Why is how nodejs or cef does I/O worse than any other GUI toolkit’s I/O layer?

the person getting the burger actually has a user agent which fetches the burger for them. Its a food delivery app and the browser is doordash/uber eats etc. Instead of packets its human beings who read a screen and understand obligations.

What does that even mean? I make GUIs in web technologies, I make GUIs in godot, I make GUIs in bevy, I make GUIs in flutter, etc etc. Blink uses Skia. Flutter uses Skia. Is skia just bad? What are you even saying? What is slow about web tech, really? To me performance is almost always bad engineering choices like not understanding or handling I/O.

Why would that slow it down exactly? Nothing really slow about GPU accelerated graphics these days?
Would love to hear the technical reasons. You need to have UI kits for GUIs. Responsive and accessible UI kits are hard. The web solved them a decade ago and made them easier to achieve than ever before. Why invent the wheel twice?
I/O is the slowest thing ever. The more I/O dependent your app is, the slower it will be. It is not easy to make a slow web UI with zero I/O. Very easy to make a slow UI with a native toolkit and high I/O usage. Network calls are I/O. Analytics are I/O. Most enterprise apps these days demand so much analytics they effectively have spyware on their own users to optimize and A/B test against.

Gamers gotta buy compute tokens, too. Welcome to devops billing, gamers. The tech companies decided they’re done just taxing each other, time to tax you, too.

Neverwinter Nights. Dragon Age Origins. Mass Effect. Knights of the Old Republic. It may all be considered unc slop now but man Bioware at its peak was some good times in gaming.

Targeting Gen X

a civil war is a militarized conflict. It requires entire groups of people grabbing guns or explosives or other arms and being willing to kill someone else for being on the wrong side. If no one in canada was arming up and murdering people for being on a different side then of course not.

Didn’t go so great for the rich, but you don’t think the french would rather have a republic than a monarchy?

Well, it’s reality. Billions of dollars of profit are going through this system that I’m the sole actual engineer on. A nationwide grocer, mind you.

same idiots who follow brands and lifestyle products

What metrics do they look at to know if the end of the world is going to happen? What historical context patterns do they look at? “actually” destroy the world as if they know what “actually” will destroy their worlds

The state of the american economy is a joke, yes, where it makes things like this probable

?? AI is nothing like a compiler 😂 Its just autocomplete. Compilers are deterministic btw. All good tools are. I dont want to play whack a mole with autocomplete.

I’m self taught. Didn’t go to uni. I can learn anything. That’s what makes me special. These ai people need it and literally cry when it’s gone. They’re pathetic.
We should have more agnostics and atheists in office as a sign of critical thinking skills are in order to be honest. As a christian who’s deconstructed, I trust no politician who’s ever been a pastor. I trust republicans less of course, but religion is only useful as therapy for poor and history-uneducated, like I used to be, in my opinion.
