I thought one of the leaks was that we’re going back in time and looking at the origin of the Elder Scrolls themselves? In which case we might get the Aldmeri Dominion still, but not Skyrim 2.

It’s too niche to be a hive of activity on a platform this small, but !boneappletea@lemmy.world does exist!

I don’t think you can apply this retroactively to a game from 1996, or modern projects directly referencing that name.
That said, I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s noticed this weird trend of -fall in mediocre games! See also -borne, -bound, and the word “rise” anywhere in the title.

The second season of Common Side Effects is only three months away! I’m not normally that interested in animated shows, but I’m very excited for this one.
If you’ve not seen it, the first (and only, sadly) season of Scavengers Reign is also excellent.
The one thing more tiring than a stream of AI-generated content is a feed of real content with people baselessly commenting that it’s AI. Your broad complaint is valid but it’s misplaced so often that it’s utterly fucking exhausting – please be more judicious.

Weird. Neither OpenStreetMap nor CoMaps does any automatic address interpolation or inference. All the data you see there was either imported from a suitably-licensed authoritative source or added by a contributor.
If you’re seeing misnumbering of addresses, it’s almost certainly human error, but it won’t be a regular thing.

EA actually weren’t able to secure a new license for FIFA.
They’re still doing football/soccer games, but it’s called “EA Sports FC” now. Catchy, huh?

Gorgonzola, walnuts, capers, olives, chipotle flakes, and a little grated vintage cheddar please. If that doesn’t fit into the pizza man’s pizza plan, don’t trust the pizza man.
When they fuck up your “TikTok”
We all understand it’s a skit, right?

I’m not saying you can’t hate them, but I am saying that all you’ll achieve by that is getting angry all the time.

You’re fighting the tide. There’s never been a point in time where language had fixed, immutable definitions. It’s always been transient, no matter what you learned, and it’s not a good thing or a bad thing, it’s just how communication and culture work.
“Though thou belongst in a salad
Thou,” I cried, “art yet a hazard
Ghastly grim and ancient mallard
On the night’s Plutonian shore”

Just wanted to chime in and say that OP’s experience is exactly how it would go down at my workplace too, despite the deluge of downvotes they’re getting, and I also likely would have looked at alternatives instead of proposing it, for the sake of my professional reputation. I think it’s likely true for a ton of people.
That’s not to say that people aren’t being over-serious if they see the original branding and balk at it, but that’s out of OP’s hands.

Yeah, agreed, they look to be hugely bright spotlights facing into Pakistan. All my photos are from within India, so even if they were clearer, I don’t think we’d see the actual light fixtures.
(Edit: unless that’s what’s on the poles in all three pictures, maybe.)

I think the lights are probably on the towers dotted along the fence. Best I could find nearby on Google Streetview:

That’s all well and good, but in Scrabble, GOOGLE only scores 8 whereas YANDEX scores 17.
Meh, there are a lot more sci-fi movies that have ships with some kind of artificial gravity than don’t, especially since it saves a large, expensive production headache. I don’t feel it needs to be referencing a specific title.
