It was just the space that MacOS takes up and how Asahi partitions. I got used to doing the partitioning myself when I switched to Void and now having it done automaticlly annoys me.

I really don’t like Fedora or the package manager too much. It would be great if Nvidia, AMD, or Intel can make their own version of Apples silicon.

My old MacBook M2 was awesome and handled PS2 emulation, Oblivion with mods, and other older games great.

You can use Asahi Linux on Apple Silicon, but you can’t replace Mac OS. I used it for a few years and just stopped because of the partitioning and update issues. I bought a T14 gen 3 and put Void on it. Works a lot better and I could finally upgradey SSD to a 2 TB one.

The T14 gen 6 is pretty upgradable and you can replace windows with Linux.

It’s not worth it to catch a charge over “fighting” the government. Gen z and millennials really are hell bent on ruining their lives over activism.

I don’t think people understand that the French Revolution largely failed because it led to Napoleon, which led France to become an Empire again…

Also, the legal system set up by the revolutiaries led to Capitalism thriving in France and other parts of Europe.

The French Revolution was sparked by a failing if the Monarchies creditors and a state bankruptcy. The revolutiaries wanted the poor to have similar opportunities of investment and land ownership that the royals had.

It’s typical that many American and European leftist can’t even read a few history books on what the Revolution was actually about and how it was a failure for modern socialism.

They just see poor people killing royalty and insert themselves as the poor revolutionary and some boomer as the monarch, it was much more complicated than that.

Looks like the company that got sued just copy pastaed protected content without making any type of change to make it fair use.

Not the “win” anti-AI people were looking for and the article seems to be misunderstood by most.

Seems as long as AI models use some form “transformative” method to train their AI, then it’s fair use.

Self host if you’re gonna use AI, in fact, self host whenever possible. There are numerous examples of companies using centralized data to sell, report to police, or even having it fall into the hands of hackers.

I really think people think that all data input to a website is actually stored locally, nope, don’t be dumb.

As long as it has Bluetooth, or a wired connection, then it should be fine.

I use a third party gamepad and it works fine.
