Maralago face for dogs…
Allamaraine, count to four, Allamaraine, then three more, Allamaraine, if you can see, Allamaraine, you’ll come with me…

Maralago face for dogs…
Hey Mr. Scott, what you gonna do? What you gonna do? Make our dreams come true!

Don’t we have AI that can reverse engineer just about anything… Be a real shame if governments just started replacing all these proprietary dependencies with their own solutions…

I said this exact thing to multiple Australian universities and government heads.
Not only would it save money, it would develop local industry and expertise.
No reply of course. No one’s interested if it doesn’t help make them rich!

Wow four whole supermarket chains? That’s double Australia, where we have just two.
I’d wager it’s more or less the same structural reasons as Canada though.

100% this. A lot of local town regulation is implemented under a guise of community protection and wellbeing. Then in practise it displaces local businesses and replaces them with big corporate setups that can navigate the new rules more easily. They’ll fine someone for not installing a ramp, but not provide that same ramp to the local park.

Translation: Plenty of out of touch, spoilt idiots in Canada.
The DRM on competitive sex is really annoying though, practically excludes Linux users.
Yeah I mean at the end of the day it’s a work tool.
I had a situation a few weeks ago where a Microsoft user sent us a PowerPoint of screenshots full of comments from the client about what to change. People on MacOS couldn’t see the comments in their software and I couldn’t see it on Ubuntu Studio using LibreOffice either. ONLYOFFICE had them but they were still hard to find in the UI.
The desktop scaling one just does my head in too. Feel like on Linux I should have more options and utility and I probably could figure something out if I tinker with it. But who has the time ey
Ah my bad, I meant ONLYOFFICE*
So many offices 😅
LibreOffice is great, but it has some glaring issues that keep it out of the mainstream. In my experience it can’t handle multiple monitors with different scaling, comments on 365 don’t import, formulas in sheets break, etc.
Some of these issues come from Microsoft, but other FOSS office suites like ONLYOFFICE have overcome them so it’s doable.
I get the sense their tech stack is very rigid so that may be why iteration is slowed.

Gonna get real weird soon when they run out of rich new training data and they begin to consume their own shit. When that happens their entire model will collapse and if the bubble hasn’t popped already that may be what causes it.
I was 15. He was 22. He bought me take away food, alcohol and cigarettes for my company.
A decade later, he was my bosses boss. And harassed me at work.
He came from a wealthy family where he was the golden child, people around town know about his tastes but no one has come forward. His family are in denial.
Some people are just pure evil.
Minorities be like: Wtf bro. We’ve only been telling you this since forever.
