The last 10 years, I’ve only bought a couple of incandescent bulbs for my lava lamps - and those are, thankfully, still available.
My biggest blocker by far in moving away, is calendars.
My family has so many interconnected calendars (I personally have 12 on my phone right now) and I still haven’t seen that anything else can do what Google does with calendars. My entire family (minus ex wife) is using Gmail on our own domain, and the ex still has r/w access to our kids’ calendars (for noting play dates, doctor’s appts, etc).
Even syncing Google with Outlook is pure hell - in both directions - and that’s before you start adding the interference from employers’ firewalls and shit.

Seriously though, my firstborn got a rather specific name which was (and is) totally fine - it just set us up for some serious brain racking when it came time to come up with another name that wasn’t comparatively boring.

I love the discourse here, it’s so nice to see. Not only because I, too, am a Mint user for practical purposes (MATE flavour, even, in spite of running on pretty modern hardware).

Right? When mine went, I found an LED bulb for like a dollar and a half thinking, this can’t possibly hold. But so far, it’s held up for 2 years.
