Privacy@programming.dev•Know Your Threat Level: GrapheneOS vs. SovereignOS — Which One Should You Actually Be Running?English
1·3 days agoIf you say “GrapheneOS may be the best, but you should treat it as untrustworthy.”, is it fair to single it out as the “BackdoorOS”? It seems more like your position is that no closed source hatdware can be trusted? On that level we also can’t trust any software because of Ken Thompsons “Reflections on trusting trust”. So is your point that phones/computers can’t be trusted in general, or that GrapheneOS is especially unsafe compared to available alternatives?

Fediverse@lemmy.world•What is the most active/popular fediverse project?English
2·10 days agoMastodon is more centered around specific people you choose to follow, everything is in chronological order, regardless of topic or if it’s a reply to someone else. Lemmy has threaded replies and the topic is more in focus.

I don’t know the terminology in grammar, but if I were to translate “to stop” to swedish it would be “att sluta”, and “stop it!” would be “sluta!”
