eOS+Fairphone is fairly different proposition. Not equivalent to GrapheneOS in my view. It’s a good option in terms of product ownership. GrapheneOS remains the undisputed best proposition in terms of security.
Why hasn’t GrapheneOS started supporting Fairphones ? Because they don’t meet their security requirements on hardware level. Why hasn’t Fairphone seek partnership with GrapheneOS? Maybe they did and we don’t know about that because it didn’t lead anywhere, probably because the 2 organizations have very different goals.
You are probably thinking the demographic that value privacy and security overlaps with people valuing product ownership, repairability and fair manufacturing. You would be totally correct. I would be delighted to have an all inclusive option at a reasonable price. Today it’s a trade-off decision. Repairability as top value: Fairphone+eOS. Security as top value: Pixel+GrapheneOS.

I sure hope so. If they release something around the 500€ price range, I would definitely be more interested.

Completely wrong target for GrapheneOS. The GrapheneOS demographics, which I belong to, isn’t interested in high-end phones. They want a no nonsense simple phone with lots of storage and security first design.
This will be harmful to GrapheneOS project. It will go like this: no one buys the phone because it’s too damn expensive and full of features the privacy nerds like me don’t care about. Even fewer buy the phone with GrapheneOS pre-installed and it’s a total flop. Motorola stops the partnership saying “we did it and no one wanted it”. No other OEM wants to partner with GrapheneOS after that.

I suppose this is speed up, isn’t it ?

Oi mate ! Got a loicense for that arse ?

I updated NAS, VPS and Raspberry Pis not so long ago. All when smooth and without issue.

I was happily surprised few weeks ago when I could make an online purchase with Wero, on a German website. Hope this system gains traction and stays straight forward and simple like it is now.
Some effort must be made to make the registration process simpler. Although, I didn’t feel it was complicated, some people around me have not made the step even after I pitch them the service and seemed convinced it’s nice.

Super interesting stuff ! Thanks for sharing :)

The sequence of events does ? X-37 first test flight happened on 7 April 2006. Shenlong was revealed with a reduced scale model on 11 December 2007.
It’s a not given that one copied the other. They could be independently developed and converge to a similar design simply because they happen to target similar objectives and requirements.
Do not redeem, Neo! DO NOT REDEEEM, NEEEEOOOOO!!!

I only use it to face chat with my family. Group video calls work fairly well. The app is very barebone. Do not expect fancy, or even convenience features.

I have the Pixel 7 and the camera is pretty good already. 2 sensors is perfectly fine.
