I don’t think the US will ever pay reparations in any form to its (nominal) allies, nor be asked to.

Instead, the US will lose (or has already lost) all goodwill and soft power it has enjoyed post WWII, and will have to face skeptic if not openly hostile nations in all diplomatic affairs, forcing it to make significant concessions if it hopes to have any sort of alliance and agreement in the future.

Plus, hopefully, the EU and many other countries will realise the mistake of relaying on the US for strategic assets, in particular defense, finance and tech, which will have a significant impact on the US economy long term.

In some capacity, yes. English is my second language and I noticed it feels different (sometimes) to say or think something in it as opposed to my native language.

I found that sometimes my brain prefers thinking something in English because it feels more detached than doing it in my native language.

IIRC during the great depression the unemployment rate was around 25%. So, if nothing changes 30% unemployment would be really really bad.
