Yeah, thing I learned is, adult responsibility aside, everyone is so immersed in their own life, writing a story that’s old as they are. When we were young, there were so many more blank pages, so many new faces, so much less monotony, so much less disturbances. Even if we had the free time, would it really be the same?

  • I have a TBO (to be organized) folder where I dump things that I can’t clearly categorize right away. Eventually, I spend a few hours sorting everything manually. I sort my music by genre, not by artist or year, so when im in the mood for say, some DnB, I don’t have to recall the artist or album, I just hit shuffle on my DnB folder

I don’t rely on auto-taggers, because I discover artists from soundcloud and YouTube that may not have their info readily available on such websites.

  • Torvalds has one of the best takes on AI so far. It’s a useful tool for experienced programmers, that takes care of a lot of the tedious tasks that humans are just not geared for.

Lets imagine for a second, what programming will be like in 2030. Tell me, do you think there will be less AI assisted code, or more, than there is now?

And let me ask this: will traditional programming be useless in 2030?

If the answers are, more and yes, then I understand why one can claim that Torvalds is destroying linux. Otherwise, it’s foolish.
