  • I was the same. I had used the brand name for years. I trusted it. I had managed anxiety but never even considered Flonase because my doctor said it was fine and, again, I trusted it. I suppose it contributed to anxiety to a lesser extent than the generic brand because once I switched, it was immediate and intense. I thought I was having a nervous breakdown. it took months of torment to put together the connection. it’s taken literally years of therapy and medication to try to undo the damage that happened in those months. good luck to your relatives. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

  • if the artists intent had been lost on some of the audience, i could see this argument. like if they’d used some of the internet acronyms that made it so some readers couldn’t tell what they were trying to say, then some meaning would have been lost.

but as this is, there is no question what those words are supposed to be. i had no trouble understanding the message and feeling the weight of it.

i understand your frustration but i feel like you’re diminishing or dismissing the impact that’s clearly still intact based on a distaste for something the clankers have forced many artists into to prevent being censored.

  • everyone i work with that uses it to generate text has lost the ability or patience to read anything, even very light text written by a human.

at best they skim, but mostly they demand in-person conversations so they can be spoon fed the contents of the documentation.

gone are the days of “this meeting could’ve been an email” because they won’t (or can’t) read the email.

so yeah, i hate it but am required to use it for work. which makes me hate it more.
