We all choose our appearance to some extent.
She’s chosen to alter her appearance to fit in with her chosen group, and instead of attacking her for the (admittedly despicable) views of that group, you’re choosing the easier thing to pick apart. An appearance that you don’t like because it’s associated with that group. At the very least, it’s lazy. It’s stooping to their level. It’s not ok.
This is like when Tim Walz was running for VP and called republicans “weird.” And we all got it, and understood it, and it was a popular bit of messaging that resonated with people. Because, let’s face it, they’re fucking weird.
But then the democrats were like “oh no! but you might offend someone!” so they stopped the popular messaging that resonated with voters and didn’t use it again right before failing.
Look, making fun of someone for their appearance isn’t the classiest thing to do, but when you’re talking about a group that’s literally worshiping at the feet of a golden altar of protecting pedophiles, you take the shots you can. And whatever hurts their feelings the most, well, I’m ok with it. We don’t always have to take the high ground. Sometimes you gotta hit’em where it hurts.
