Most people here are of the opinion that Israel is a US client state but I am not convinced of that opinion.
The strongest evidence is that a client state would never receive nukes from their host which they could use autonomously like Israel did from the US.
Yes, Israel does provide some benefit to the USA, but their downsides tremendously outweigh the benefits. To see what an actual US colony looks like, see Qatar, Saudi etc. which are hosting US military bases while paying for them. And all their oil revenue is basically directly put into the US banking system.
I’d be careful, that treads awfully close to some “Jews secretly control the world” Nazi conspiracy nonsense.
Would all those other West Asian/North African client states be client states if they didn’t need US bases to protect them from Israeli aggression? Would they not simply retaliate and wipe Tel Aviv off the map if it weren’t for the US and our protection? Israel is the keystone that holds that arch together, and if they stop being useful in that way, the US could simply withdraw that protection and there would be no Israel by the weekend, nukes or no nukes.

Protect them from what Israeli aggression? Do you think Israel bombed Libya Syria Afghanistan etc? Who’s attacking Iran right now?
Whenever actual suppression was needed it was always NATO doing the dirty work. Israel is doing jack.
And don’t do Zionist antisemitism dogwhistling. Israel having significant influence over countries doesn’t mean they fully control them. It’s like how Miami cubans lobby for anti-Cuba policies. Israel is openly bragging about their Hasbara budget and how they are influencing countries worldwide with their lobbies.
The US has bases all over the Middle East EXCEPT in Israel. Those are Israeli bases under American control.
Bases which have recently been severely crippled because Israel had the epic based idea to get Trump to bomb Iran.
The tail doesn’t wag the dog.
Israel is a US client state, not the other way around.
