I don’t know enough about the division of duties to know whose fault it is, but I blame the director. It’s just lazy, and easy.
I’m OK with it, if you show me at least one reload before you run out of bullets at the most dramatic opportunity.
I count bullets. If someone with a revolver fires off 20 rounds in a row without a pause, the show/movie lost credibility and I’m taken out of it. Extra bad if they later try to use ammo as a plot device to raise drama, ugh.

21·14 hours agoI like browsing anonymously, navigating directly to channels I enjoy because I get the general crap that can be easilly ignored at a glance, rather than potentially fringe products of an echo chamber slowly and sneakily creeping into my feed without my realization. I’m paranoid of the slow boil, you know? Different strokes.

1·15 hours agoBud, our interaction began with you accusing me of trying to “look tough in oversized vehicles designed to avoid safety standards, emission standards and whatever other quality standards” because my personal tastes exclude shitty slugbug knockoffs.
I don’t know what to tell you buddy, I’m sure the insecure guy driving the mega XL heavy duty in the burbs that you desperately want to unleash all that self-righteous impotent rage on is out there somewhere, but I’m not him XD

Why are you deliberately living in a bubble that shows you what you want to hear? Like I have a cousin convinced for years that either the US or China is >6 months from total economic collapse, because that’s their algo is showing them reinforcing narratives they want to hear.

“alpha male” in some obese truck.
Your idea of a conversation is arbitrarily assigning random, poorly spelled strawmen that you can knock down. Do I really need to be here for it?

Isn’t exactly a Corvette. If I’m pulling up in the fancy new whip, I want the assumption to be “this guy likes to drive”, not “this guy likes to make Mario noises whilst being fucked in the ass in the backseat”.

8·24 hours agoOk buddy, it’s still super weird and comes off as begging for interaction to smugly state how nice your phone is while refusing to mention what it is.
Like if we were talking breakfast, and I chimed in with
It wasn’t as if I choose between McDonalds and IHOP. There are decent breakfast places out there that have all these things and more. But if you’re going to choose the duopoly, then don’t complain when they do whatever they want. My breakfast had an egg, hand cooked bacon, fried potatoes, and flavoring, which is available in THREE different varieties…
I’d rightfully be called a jagoff for describing a food truck’s breakfast burrito in such wanker terms.
Anything’s a snack if you’re man enough

writes 3 paragraphs about how rad their phone is
never shares what it is
You know, you can sit outside in nature, enjoying the lovely world around us while fishing, you dont even have to beg the question “ooooo aaaa what phone do u have” for bait

HEY! Mind your own goddamned whoreson business, before someone minds it for you

In all fairness, if you know going to be asked tough questions, you want a propagandist that can gaslight on the spot, not a slackjaw going “DURRRRRRRRR, me laaaawwwwwyerrrrrrr HURRRRRR”
Ah well, valuing loyalty > competence strikes again, shocking nobody. I might actually watch SNL this weekend, though.
