To add on to what others have said, case law has pretty much settled on the point that streaming isn’t a legal issue, provided no money is involved. Downloading can still be an issue, but not as bad as it can be in the US. If you’re using free streaming sites and don’t use the download option, you shouldn’t have any legal issues. I have been using free streaming sites for years on a few different providers, and the only notice I’ve received in the last decade was when my kid pirated a game without VPN.

Commercial products can’t do this from a business case level. There are ways you can achieve this on a technical level, but it is very much DIY at this point. I hope to slowly implement this over the next while until I have a system that works for me, uses no cloud or corporate servers, and is possibly accessible from outside my home (that’s a security challenge and I may not be up to it).

So your threshold is that they have to be able to see the intent of people’s hearts and predict the future? How would anyone succeed at those goals? How about not giving it to people who have directed no clear progress towards peace in the first place, like Barack Obama? That’s a much lower bar and reasonably achieved, and they haven’t even done that. They could also not give it to people until the results of their efforts, or at least the trends of their efforts regardless of results, we’re clear. That would still disqualify Obama, but also Ahmed.

And while that all may help true, someone doing non-peace-promoting activities after they got the Peace Prize is just about the worst example you can use to defend that position.

Are you saying he had even better examples with the very same person he used to defend his position about the Nobel Committe and didn’t?
