If this is real
I’m guessing the “AI” results are just smart enough to contextualise “is we getting” with the meme without understanding the joke.

Ok. How are ABC, Fox and NBC breaking anti trust laws?
Wilhoit’s Law

Then why comment at all? Actually, never mind. Don’t care.

CNN and CBS maybe, now that the merger is finalized. How are ABC, Fox and NBC breaking anti trust laws?

Why is this great to see? Did you read the article or even the first paragraph?
The Justice Department is investigating whether the major television networks - ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and Fox News - violated federal antitrust laws when the group briefly suspended their pooled coverage of President Trump, according to six people with knowledge of the department’s action.
It’s retaliatory by the administration.
They came out close together and both featured ants as main protagonists. A Bug’s Life is the one pictured.
Ironic you say this because the plot of A Bug’s Life was initially inspired by Aesop’s The Ant and the Grasshopper.
Antz or A Bug’s Life?

Or it could be why they got the party nod even though they weren’t attractive candidates to the people.
I’d actually expect it to be more likely if Newsom gets the nod for VP and then tries to launch that to a Presidential run the next time around.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris. Gavin Newsom has never been VP with a President who’s not running again.

Former Vice President Al Gore. Gavin Newsom has never been VP with a President who’s not running again.

Maybe. He’s losing popularity in his home state though, and I wonder how attractive a candidate whose home state doesn’t like them will be at the national level.

Thank goodness you’re not running for political office in America I guess. They already have enough people in power who like to shit on others and try to demoralize them while doing nothing to support or help.
You might fit right in quite well in Alberta though.

the board probably asked IT for suggestions, and they said, “just go with gemini, we already have it in our gsuite.”
I work in IT and your reasoning is solid but there’s a better chance that conversation went more like the board said “here’s every AI option but the one already in our platform” and then IT asked what the AI needed to be able to do and got a ¯\(ツ)/¯ back.
Then IT said “just go with gemini, we already have it in our gsuite."
It’s not a quarter of all people, just adults and Canada and Mexico are both pretty easy for a lot of Americans. Plus cruises and/or resort trips to the Caribbean and there’s plenty of people who have “been to another country” without ever having really experienced another country.

A quarter of the working age population is functionally unemployed. They can’t afford to protest the way you want or they won’t eat, will lose their housing because there’s no social safety nets. Of the few that existed those were some of the first things to go.
Americans could petition their government representation to fix that but that representation either doesn’t care or has no power in the current system.
What you’re talking about would be, essentially, a siege with each side trying to wait out the other; and that’s assuming you could get enough people together.
Let’s compare France, a country known for protest, with the US:
France population ~70 million
US population ~340 million
France size ~551,000km squared
US size ~9,900,000km squared
With just those two numbers we can see that France’s population is ~1/5th of the US in a country roughly 1/18th the size of the US. That’s without getting into the transportation options that are available in France that aren’t available in the US to get people to the seat of power.
There has been an ongoing campaign to weaken the power of the citizens of the US for decades and that’s not the only place. Fascism is on the rise globally.
with the massive presence of US media and popular culture
Look to the billionaires, the Epstein class, for who’s to blame for that.
Almost a quarter of American adults have never traveled abroad. Only another quarter has been to 5 or more countries. Americans, by and large, only understand the world outside of their own country in the terms American media presents it to them.
They just wanted to make themselves as ugly on the outside as they are within.
