If you don’t think there is such a thing as radical atheism, you might be in a radically atheistic echo chamber. There absolutely is a way to take it too far. For example, thinking that all religions should be abolished forever.
Personally I am also an atheist bordering on radical :D
More than that: Judaism, Christianity and Islam all believe in the same god and the same creation story (more or less). Not to mention, different denominations within each religion (e.g. Catholic, Protestant for Christianity). It seems these shared beliefs don’t really contribute to any kind of peace.
My dishwasher literally doesn’t have a pre-rinse cycle, the first wash is the main one with the powder, so I get to avoid this whole conundrum! By which I mean, I do quickly wash them by hand if there’s any obvious gunk, and no one would realistically tell me not to.

The compartment for the detergent has no lid, so the powder drops as soon as you close it.
It also does not have anywhere to put rinse aid, but a bottle of some was included when I bought it new. Great attention to details.

Honestly it’s a good idea IMO. The thing is, if it becomes common wisdom that edited comments signal credibility, then spambot makers that want them to look human can easily program them to do that and take advantage of that common wisdom. At that point it wouldn’t be a useful signal anymore. That’s the nature of a cat and mouse game like this.
But for the time being? It sounds like a reasonable heuristic to me. But just like everything in this area, no single thing is 100%.

Let’s get philosophical… What is Lemmy, and who are its makers? I think a plausible answer is that Lemmy is the federated platform in its entirety, and all instance admins, mods, and to some extent users, have had a hand in making it.
A good place was made (which isn’t .ml). It is called “Lemmy”. Whoever made it is the intended recipient of the thanks. That works, IMO!
if there’s another potential misreading joke hidden in the title text, I can’t find it. ‘Remote sensing’ -> ‘remote detonation’ seems like a stretch. Maybe something with ‘measure the surface’? But then what would it be? Pleasure the surface?! I think not!
