I just want a car that is 0% computer
You’ll have to go back to carburetors, points, and the 1970’s for that. Cars have had computers since the wide adoption of electronic fuel injection by manufacturers.
I’ll settle for one without networking
how will you know the windshield washer fluid is low?
You’d be in the shop getting it tuned twice a year.
You want a car that’s about 7% computer - but that doesn’t require wifi, or a tablet interface, or camera on the inside.
At least a car that don’t tattletale everything to it’s maker
Do you consider a calculator that can add, subtract, multiply, and divide, a computer?
No, a calculator is an ALU and a couple registers but is not turing complete.
Would like trying to call a crate engine a car.
I just want one where I don’t have to deal with spyware and a whole operating system. Let the computer elements make the car go, not be something I have to interact with.
Dials and buttons. No touch screens.
I can sense the technology connections grip on this community from these comments
